Cordless Tool Combo Kits

Which cordless tool combo is right for you?
I would be a fool to try to answer that question.  Everyone will have a different reason to buy a particular combo kit.  Consider just a few points:
1. What tool is most important.   After the obvious choice of the cordless drill (hammer or regular), what would you use the most?  The cordless tools available continues to grow.
2.Cost.
I never endorse buying "cheap" tools, that is why some are not listed here!  However when looking at t a combo kit there is a wide range of costs.  If money is no object you can spend well over a $1,000 on a complete cordless tool kit.
3.Warranty.
While most cordless tools have good warranties, some are better than others.  Check out what is covered and for how long.  Don't forget the batteries.
4.Battery type .  You get three basic cordless tool battery choices.   Nicad, Nickel Metal and Lithium.  Again cost does play a role, but the new lithium cordless tool combos have some real advantages. One of them being a great weight savings.
5.Brand.  Everyone has their favorite brand cordless tools.  If you have a lot of  a particular brand, you may want to buy a combo kit that will allow you to utilize the cordless tools you already have.
